In the coming weeks I will be launching an adult faith formation or education class here in Columbia, Mo. I am titling the course, “The Church in the Modern World,” a tip of the hat to the Vatican II document, Gaudium et Spes.

We will be gathering in the Activity Building at Sacred Heart Parish (105 Waugh St.), though Catholics (and non-catholics) are welcome from all of the three parishes in town and beyond.

Classes will take place on Thursday evenings from 7:00 – 8:30 PM.

Topics will be decided in the first weeks. It will not be necessary to attend every week, simply come and go as you please. A potential list of topics is listed at the end of this post.

For now this post serves as a launching tool to help brainstorm and get the word out around town. Be sure to check your bulletins and social media for more information.
